Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of RateWire (the website, the board and the Chrome add-on). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

RateWire reads messages from WhatsApp chats and channels that you choose in WhatsApp Web on your own computer, and turns phone prices in them into a rate board. RateWire is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Free trial and subscriptions

• New accounts get a free trial of 7 days, plus any bonus days earned through invites.
• When the trial ends, access to the board and add-on pauses until you take a plan. Your data stays saved for you.
• Plans are agreed with you by email at iamdkpal@gmail.com. You are never charged without first agreeing to a price, period and number of computers.
• Subscriptions renew only as agreed and can be cancelled before the next period. Fees already paid for a running period are not refundable unless the law requires it or the service was unavailable for most of that period.
• Fair use: one account per shop; extra computers need a plan that includes them.
• We may change, extend or end the free trial offer at any time.

3. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Each account may run on one computer unless we allow more. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
• You must be at least 18 and use RateWire for lawful business purposes.

4. Acceptable use

• Use RateWire only with a WhatsApp account you own or are authorised to use, and only with chats you are a member of.
• Do not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or tamper with the add-on or try to bypass its device lock.
• Do not use RateWire to send spam, collect other people's personal data, or break WhatsApp's terms or any law.

Intellectual property and licence

• RateWire, its name, logo, website, board design, rate-reading methods and the Chrome add-on are owned by Dhruv Khetrapal and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved.
• We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use RateWire for your own shop while your account has access. The software is licensed, not sold.
• You may not copy, share, resell, rent, modify, translate, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, scrape or build a competing product from RateWire or its add-on, or remove its notices or device lock.
• Every add-on copy is stamped to the account that downloaded it, and misuse is logged. We may suspend accounts that break this section and take legal action.

5. Accuracy of rates

Rates are extracted automatically, including by AI, and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. RateWire is an information tool only. Always confirm prices with the dealer. You alone are responsible for buying, selling and pricing decisions.

6. Intellectual property

The software, add-on, design and brand belong to RateWire. Your messages and rates remain yours; you give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you.

7. Suspension and termination

We may pause or close accounts that break these Terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, RateWire is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by incorrect rates, WhatsApp changes or outages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months (₹0 during a free trial).

9. Changes and law

We may update these Terms and will show the new date above. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
